E61 Group Thermometer Coffee Sensor For Brew Group Espresso Machine

The coffee sensor comes with:

1. Special stainless steel adapter installed on the digital thermometer

2. Small Hex wrench to remove the hex screw from the E61 group head

3. Small fixed wrench needed to install and screw the adapter into the E61 group head

4. Up to 3 copper washers

Different number of copper washer should be tried, depending on you coffee machine manufacturer. For example, because of the construction, Vibiemme users could use up to 3 copper washers. This is an example in order for the user to understand that for a more tighten screw, you could use one and up to 3 sealants.

Installing the coffee sensor doesn’t need special tools, conditions or high tech knowledge. 

1. Just make sure the E61 coffee machine is turned off and cooled down, near room temperature

2. Remove the Allen head located just on front of the group head

3. Make sure the sensor has the copper washer on it and that the Teflon washer (OEM one) is into the group head

4. Insert and screw the sensor into the group head

5. Make the blind basket test to make sure there are no water leaks

6. Enjoy !
