The membrane pressure regulator regulates the water pressure flow within the Jura machines.  Without this pressure regulator, the pump will be a lot noisier and will not regulate the required operating pressure.   In addition, this part leaks frequently and therefore is the most frequently replaced mechanical component in Jura machines.
